a) Tributaries and Distributaries:
Tributaries
are smaller streams or rivers that flow into a larger river or lake. Example: Yamuna is a tributary of the Ganga.
Distributaries

Mountain:
A large natural elevation of the earth's surface rising abruptly from the surrounding level, typically with a peak or summit. Generally, mountains are significantly higher and steeper than hills.
Hill:

A desert is a barren or desolate area, often characterized by extreme temperatures (hot or cold) and very low precipitation.
Deserts have sparse vegetation adapted to arid conditions and unique animal life.
Examples include the Sahara Desert (hot) and the Gobi Desert (cold).
b) Plateau:
A plateau is a large, flat area of land that is raised significantly above the surrounding land, often with steep sides.
Plateaus can be formed by volcanic activity, erosion, or tectonic uplift.
Examples include the Deccan Plateau in India and the Tibetan Plateau.
c) Plain:
A plain is a large area of flat or gently rolling land with minimal changes in elevation.
Plains are often formed by deposition of sediments by rivers or glaciers.
